MACHU PICCHU CULTURAL TOURISM ONE DAY TOURS
Mandor Cataracts
Duration : 3 hours Type : Eco Adventure
At the scheduled time you can start walking along the bordering railway. Here you will encounter exotic, birds, vegetation and more, then you will arrive at the gorge and valley of Mandor at it slopes of Huayna Picchu mountain. Where a typical style house welcomes you, you continue walking in a slow 15 minute ascent which surrounds exotic flowers, fruits and entangled vegetation. You will cross a wooded bridge while listening to the waters current and finally the ancient cataracts of Mandor, which is a calm and beautiful place with crystalline waters, you will be able to take a small bath; in waters that come from the defrosting mountains above. After 30 minutes you will return and catch the train that will take you to the town of Aguas Calientes. Ascends to Putucusi mountain
Duration : 3 hours Type : Adventure Departures : Every day at morning or in the afternoon.
A few meters to the town of Aguas Calientes you will find a stone Inca path that will take you to the top part of Putucusi mountain in middle of precipices it is not a good place for people with heart conditions problems. Beautiful views dominate the panorama. There are those who say that this mountain was a monitoring and control place for the citadel, Soon, the way becomes difficult because steps were made on one side of the mountain (Almost 200 steps). Finally you will arrive to the top and see the majestic citadel. After a small snack and you will return to Aguas Calientes.
