Inca Trail to Machu Picchu

The magic way in the Andes Mountains and Cloud Forest of Perú Cusco. Four days of adventure trips in the famous Inca Trail, full trekking and camping in beautiful land scape with variety of orchids and bird in the middle of exotic flora.

Departure : All year, except in february.

Duration : 4 days / 3 night (40 KM of trek)

Tourism type : Adventure Hiking and Camping.

Itinerary : Inca Trail Classic

Brief itinerary :

One day : Cusco city - Pisqaccucho - Huayllabamba

Tourist transportation of Cusco to KM 82, 5 hours of trek by Pisqaccucho, Urubamba River, Llacta Pata and Campsite in Huayllabamba village (9,850 ft.). Lunch and dinner.

Two day : Huayllabamba  - Waymiwañuska - Pacaymayo

From Huayllabamba climb to the highest part of our journey, finally after gradual uphill hike we reach Warmiwañuska pass (13,900 ft.) where we have the panoramic view of Huayanay mountains and the Vilcabamba range. Then descend to the campsite Pacaymayo(10,990 ft.)

Three day : Pacaymayo - Phuyupatamarca - Wiñaywayna

This day visits important archaeological Incas sites, departure of Pacaymayo to Runkuraqay pass (13,000 ft.) continué to Sayacmarca ruins and descend to Phuyupatamarca (11,450 ft.) of this point the mountain range of Vilcabamba can be appreciated (where it emphasizes the snowed one of Salkantay 20,000 ft.) Finally descend 2 hours by cloud forest to Wiñaywayna (9,800 ft.) the final campsite. Later explore to Wiñaywayna Inca Site.

Four day : Wiñaywayna - Intipunku  - Machu Picchu - Cusco

5 a.m. Easy morning walk to the Gate of the Sun (Intipunku), first view of Machu Picchu Inca City, descend  the last portion of hike, later on guided tour of the “Lost City of the Incas”, after to explore Machu Picchu  bus ride to Machu Picchu town (Aguas Calientes), late afternoon return to Cusco by train.

End of our service.

  • Transfer by bus of Cusco city to klm.82 (trail head)

  • Private service of transport to all tours and transfer.

  • Entrance Fee, Inca Trail and Machu Picchu.

  • Tent, for each 2 persons.

  • Toilet tent (in case campsite don’t have toilets).

  • Bus Ticket from Machu Picchu Inca city to Machu Picchu Village.

  • Train Ticket (backpacker train) from Machu Picchu to Ollantaytambo and bus ticket to Cusco city (Regocijo Place).

  • Full meals (3 breakfast, 3 lunch, and 3 dinner).

  • Daily snack bag.

  • Daily afternoon tea service.

  • Daily wake up call tea, and hot water for washing.

  • Daily morning boiled and cold water to fill the water bottles.
